The Partner visa (subclasses 820 and 801) allows the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. The applicant must be the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen. The relationship must be genuine and continuing. Both partners must be committed to a shared life excluding other partners, and the relationship must have been in existence for at least 12 months, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
The Partner visas (subclasses 309 and 100) allow the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia.
